Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I found my calling at the age of 7 and began a life in the theatre, chasing the thrill of new work. From childhood, every spare moment I've found has been given to the discipline of acting and the art forms that surround it such as stagecraft, fiber arts, and makeup and costume design.
I graduated high school a year early to pursue classical actor training after discovering my love of classical theatre, Shakespeare, and art criticism outside of Texas in Denver, Colorado at 17 years old before attending my first year of college at Rutgers University. Unable to find my perfect niche in New Jersey, I returned home to my family in Colorado and completed my BFA in acting at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I spent my summers at the Denver Center for Performing Arts teaching ages 10 to 18 about acting, improv, theatre history, musical theatre, screen acting, and Shakespeare after finally finding the perfect environment to thrive in.
I am now entering a brand new chapter in my life as a professional actress, teaching artist, and costume designer surrounded by a diverse community of inspiring young artists. I am driven by my love of text and the theatrical process that goes into creating plays, musicals, and films. I have made it my life's purpose to share the joy that the theatre gives me with everyone around me.
